Take a walk....

As we come to the end of another week, Tommy and I have been doing more Skype readings and connecting with people, some old friends that I have not seen in ages.

After the readings I was sitting reflecting on some of the memories these people ignited in me when I saw them again. I think sometimes in life we are too busy to look back at some of the things we have done and some of the places we have been just to remember those past moments, which in turn often bring back a smile or an image which gives you a good feeling, a moment captured in time.

Coronavirus and the long subsequent lockdowns have certainly had an impact and changed peoples lives. I notice this in many of the people I am connecting with, but for all of the negatives constantly being published in the news and on social media there are some positives.

Most of us do now have a little more time than we used to have, to reflect and think more, having to slow down a little. Without a doubt small things have become important again like a weekly catch up with family over the internet, and many of us now look forward to going out for a small walk to get some air.

As the lockdown begins to lift I hope we all continue to remember what is actually important in life. Sometimes the smallest things bring the biggest joy. A walk anywhere on a nice day, taking in some fresh air and nodding to a passerby really can be something amazing when you break it down.
